This project is to build Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Villas in the Toowoomba suburb of Wilsonton.
Wilsonton is a suburb, located approximately 5 kilometres northeast of the Toowoomba central business district, located approximately 133 kilometres west of Brisbane. The site is currently comprised of 2 vacant allotment situated on the eastern side of Berry Street.
The project is to construct 2 high physical support (SDA) single storey dwellings, each comprising 3 bedrooms, 3 ensuites, open plan kitchen/dining/living, laundry and single attached carport. Each dwelling will also be accompanied by a detached single storey villa for on-site overnight assistance (OOA) which will comprise of a single bedroom. ensuite, open plan kitchen/dining/living and laundry.
Current demand for SDA in Toowoomba is outstripping supply, with more than 150 NDIS participants expected to be seeking appropriate SDA housing in the future according to the NDIS Demand tracker.
Exit strategy
The borrower will be selling the project on completion, with an agreement in place to exit with financial services and wealth management group Australian Unity.
